For Family Members

Courses

Know the Odds For Families section is geared towards anyone who is concerned about their loved one’s gambling. It can be challenging to figure out what to say to a loved one when you are concerned about their gambling. Often times when you’re trying to help, that message gets lost in translation, and everyone winds up feeling frustrated or even angry. We designed this online course to help families navigate conversations about gambling behavior in a way that will be more productive.

Each course will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. We recommend taking them in the order they are listed, although that is not required. Please feel free to take each course as often as you need a refresher.

Also keep in mind, that for families in New York State, you can click on our “Find Help” tab and be connected to additional resources.
